5Now then I am going to the one who sent me, and none of you asks me where I am going.6But because I have spoken these things to you, grief has filled your heart.7But I tell you the truth: it is profitable for you that I go away. For if I do not go away, the counsellor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.8And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and concerning righteousness and concerning judgment.9Concerning sin, because they do not believe in me.10Concerning righteousness, then, because I am going to the father and you will see me no longer.11Concerning judgment, then, because the ruler of this world has been judged.12I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.13When that one comes, the spirit of truth will guide you in all truth. For he will not speak from himself, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will report to you the coming things.14That one will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and will report to you.15All that the father has is mine. For this reason I said that he takes from what is mine and will report to you.16A little while and you will see me no longer, and again a little while and you will see me.
