Heavenly Praise and the Marriage of the Lamb

Revelation 19:1-10

Chapter 19
1 After these things I heard what sounded like the voice of a large crowd in heaven saying: "Hallelujah! The salvation and the glory and the power of our God," 2 because true and righteous are his judgments; because he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his slaves at her hand. 3 And a second time they said, "Hallelujah!" And her smoke ascends forever and ever. 4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living beings fell down and worshiped the God sitting on the throne, saying, "Amen, Hallelujah." 5 And a voice came from the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all his servants and those who revere him, both small and great." 6 And I heard something like the voice of a great crowd, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thunders, saying: "Hallelujah, for the Lord God Almighty reigns." 7 Let us rejoice and exult, and let us give the glory to him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has prepared herself. 8 And it was given to her that she might be clothed with fine linen, radiant and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous ordinances of the holy ones. 9 And he says to me, "Write: Blessed are those called to the supper of the marriage of the Lamb." And he says to me, "These are the true words of God." 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me: "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant of you and your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God; for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
