The Death of Moses

Deuteronomy 34:1-12
1And Moses ascended from the Arabah of Moab to Mount Nebo, the head of Pisgah, which is upon the face of Jericho, and the LORD caused him to see all the land, the Gilead as far as Dan. 2And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah as far as the last sea. 3And the Negeb, and the Plain, the valley of Jericho, the city of the palm trees, as far as Zoar. 4And the LORD said to him, "This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, 'To your seed I will give her'; I have caused you to see her with your eyes, and there you will not pass." 5And Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab upon the lip of the LORD. 6And he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth-peor, and no man has known his tomb until this day. 7And Moses was a son of a hundred and twenty years at his death; his eye had not grown dim, and his vigor had not fled. 8And the sons of Israel wept for Moses in the Arabah of Moab thirty days, and they finished the days of weeping, the mourning of Moses. 9And Joshua son of Nun was full of spirit of wisdom, for Moses had supported his hand upon him, and the sons of Israel heard him and did as the LORD commanded Moses. 10And no prophet has arisen still in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face. 11For all the signs and the wonders which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to all his land. 12And for all the strong hand and for all the great terror which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.
