40And a leprous man comes to him, pleading with him and kneeling; he says to him, "If you will, you are able to cleanse me."41And being moved with compassion, he stretches out his hand, touches him, and says to him, "I will; be clean."42And immediately the leprosy departs from him, and he is cleaned.43And being agitated toward him, he immediately expels him.44And he says to him, "See that you say nothing to anyone, but go; show yourself to the priest and offer what concerns your cleansing, which Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."45Then, going out, he began to preach much and to spread the word abroad, so that he could no longer enter a city openly, but remained outside in deserted places; and people kept coming to him from all sides.
