Ezekiel Appointed as Watchman and Made Speechless

Ezekiel 3:16-27
16And it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 17Son of man, I have appointed you a watcher over the house of Israel; you shall hear a word from my mouth and shall warn them on my behalf. 18When I say to the wicked, You shall surely die, and you do not warn him or speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way so that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, and I will require his blood at your hand. 19Yet if you warn the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity, but you will have saved your own life. 20And if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits injustice, and I set a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not warn him he shall die in his sin, and the righteous deeds he performed will not be remembered, and I will require his blood at your hand. 21But if you warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved your own life. 22The hand of the LORD came upon me there, and he said to me, Rise and go out to the valley, and there I will speak to you. 23So I rose and went out to the valley, and there I saw the glory of the LORD standing, like the glory I had seen by the river Chebar, and I fell on my face. 24Then the spirit entered me and set me on my feet; it spoke to me and said, Go and shut yourself inside your house. 25As for you, son of man, cords will be placed upon you and you will be bound with them so that you cannot go out among them. 26I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be mute and unable to rebuke them, for they are a rebellious house. 27But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Whoever hears will hear, and whoever refuses will refuse, for they are a rebellious house.
