Chapter 7
1 Solomon built his house in thirteen years, and he finished all his house. 2 And he built the house of the forest of Lebanon, a hundred cubits its length and fifty cubits its width and thirty cubits its height, upon four rows of pillars of cedars and beams of cedars upon the pillars. 3 And paneled over with cedar above upon the sides which upon the pillars, forty and five, five fifteen, the row. 4 and three rows of lattices, sight to sight three times. 5 All the doorways and doorposts had rectangular frames. The openings faced each other directly, three times. 6 He made the vestibule for the pillars of the hall fifty cubits long and thirty cubits wide. The vestibule was in front of them, in front of the pillars of the hall, and thick in front of them. 7 And he made the porch of pillars where he would judge, the house of justice, and paneled it in cedar from floor to floor. 8 And his house where he dwelt, the other court from the house to the hall according to this work. And he would make a house for the Daughter of Pharaoh, whom Solomon took, like this hall. 9 All these were precious stones, the measure of cut stone, sawn with a saw, from the house and from outside and from the foundation to the coping, and from outside to the great court. 10 And from the foundation, precious stones, great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits. 11 And from above, precious stones according to the measurements of hewn stone and cedars. 12 The great court all around: three rows of cut stone and a row of cut cedars, and the inner court of the house of the LORD, and the porch of the house.
