Psalm 119:89-132

Chapter 119
89 Forever, O LORD, your word stands firm in the heavens. 90 Generation after generation, you have established your faithfulness; the land stands. 91 They stand today by your judgments, for all are your servants. 92 Unless your Torah had been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. 93 Forever, I will not forget your precepts, for by them you have made me alive. 94 I am yours—save me, for I have sought your appointments. 95 The wicked wait for me to destroy me; I will meditate on your testimonies. 96 To every end I have seen a limit; your commandments are exceedingly broad. 97 How I love your Torah! All day long it is my meditation. 98 You have made me wiser than my enemies; your commandment is mine forever. 99 I have gained more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation. 100 I have more insight than the elders, for I have kept your charges. 101 I have restrained my foot from every evil path, so that I might keep your word. 102 I have not turned aside from your justices, for you have taught me. 103 How sweet to my palate is your word, more than honey to my mouth! 104 From your charges I discern; therefore I hate every way of falsehood. 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my paths. 106 I have sworn and I will fulfill it, to keep your righteous judgments. 107 I have been afflicted to an extreme degree, LORD; give me grace according to your word. 108 May the voluntary offerings of my mouth please you, LORD, and teach me your judgments. 109 My vital life force is continually in my palm, and I have not forgotten your Torah/instruction. 110 The wicked have set a trap for me, and I have not strayed from your commandments. 111 My inheritance is your testimonies forever, for they are the joy of my heart. 112 I have inclined my heart to do your statutes forever, O LORD. 113 I hate branches, but I love your Torah. 114 You are my hiding place and my shield; I have hoped in your word. 115 Depart from me, evildoers, and I will keep the commandments of my God. 116 Sustain me according to your word, and I will live, and do not shame me in my hope. 117 Support me and I will be saved, and I will obey your statutes perpetually. 118 You have rejected all the erring ones from your statutes, for their deception is a lie. 119 You put away all the wicked of the land like dross; therefore I love your testimonies. 120 My flesh shuddered in dread of you, and I am in awe of your judgments. 121 I have done justice and righteousness; do not leave me to my oppressors. 122 Give surety, your servant for good, God—let not presumptuous ones oppress me. 123 My eyes fail for your salvation and for the word of your righteousness. 124 Deal with your servant according to your steadfast love, and teach me your statutes. 125 Your servant—I—make me understand, and I will know your Congregation. 126 It is time to act for the LORD; they have broken your Torah. 127 Therefore I love your commandments more than gold, even more than fine gold. 128 Therefore I hate all your precepts—all righteous ones—all paths of falsehood. 129 Your testimonies are wonders; therefore I have guarded them, my nephesh. 130 The opening of your words gives light; it makes the simple understand. 131 I opened my mouth wide and panted, for I long for your commandments. 132 Turn to me and show me grace according to your judgment for those who love your name.
