Future Glory and the Spirit's Intercession

Romans 8:18-27

8
Chapter 8
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed to us. 19 For the eager expectation of the creation awaits the revelation of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly but because of him who subjected it, in hope. 21 because the creation itself will also be set free from slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans together and travails together until now; 23 not only that, but also we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan within ourselves as we eagerly await sonship—the redemption of our body. 24 For by hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is not hope, for what a person sees does one hope for? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly await it through endurance. 26 Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know what we should pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 But the one who searches the hearts knows what the mindset of the Spirit is, that he intercedes for the saints according to God.
