38Now as they were going he entered a certain village, and a certain woman named Martha received him.39She had a sister called Mary, who also sat at the feet of Jesus and was listening to his word.40Martha was distracted about much service, and coming near she said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me alone to serve? Tell her therefore to help me."41The Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things."42But few things are needed, or only one. Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her.
