Chapter 21
10 The Israelites journeyed and encamped at Oboth. 11 They journeyed from Oboth and encamped at Iye-haabarim, in the wilderness that faces Moab, toward the sunrise. 12 From there they journeyed and encamped in the Zered Valley. 13 From there they journeyed and encamped on the far side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness that extends from the border of the Amorites; for Arnon is the border between Moab and the Amorites. 14 Therefore it says in the Book of the Wars of the LORD: Waheb in Suphah and the torrents of Arnon. 15 And the slopes of the wadis that extended to Ar, where they dwelt, and leaned on the boundary of Moab. 16 And from there they came to Beer. That is the well where the LORD said to Moses, "Gather the people, and I will give them water." 17 Then Israel sang this song: "Spring up, O well! Sing to it!" 18 The chiefs dug this well; the nobles of the people dug it, with their scepter and staff, in the Wilderness of Mattanah. 19 and from Mattanah to Nahaliel; and from Nahaliel to the high places 20 And from the high places of the valley in the field of Moab, at the head of Pisgah, which overlooks the face of the Jeshimon.
