Chapter 8
20 And the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh and say to him, 'This is what the LORD says: Send out my people so that they may serve me.'" 21 And if you refuse to send them out, I will strike all your borders with frogs. 22 And the river will swarm with frogs, and they will go up and come into your house and into your bedroom and on your bed and into the house of your servants and among your people and into your ovens and into your kneading bowls. 23 And the frogs will go up on you and on your people and on all your servants. 24 And the LORD said to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Stretch out your hand with your staff over the Nile, over the rivers, and over the pools, and bring up the frogs on the land of Egypt.'" 25 And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt. 26 And the magicians did so with their rods and brought up the frogs onto the land of Egypt. 27 And Pharaoh called to Moses and to Aaron and said, "Pray to the LORD, and he will remove the frogs from me and from my people, and I will send out the people and they will sacrifice to the LORD." 28 And Pharaoh said to Moses, "Glory over me: until when? I will intercede for you and your servants and your people to cut off the frogs from you and from your houses; only in the Nile shall they remain." 29 And he said, "Tomorrow." And he said, "According to your word, in order that you may know that there is none like the LORD our God." 30 And the frogs will depart from you and from your houses and from your servants and from your people; only in the Nile will they remain. 31 Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh, and Moses cried out to the LORD about the frogs he had brought on Pharaoh. 32 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died from the houses, from the courtyards, and from the fields.
