Chapter 136
21 And he gave their land as an inheritance, for his steadfast love endures forever. 22 An inheritance to Israel his servant—for forever his steadfast love. 23 Who remembered us in our low estate, for his steadfast love endures forever. 24 And he delivered us from our enemies, because his steadfast love endures forever. 25 He gave bread to all flesh, for his steadfast love endures forever. 26 Give thanks to the God of the heavens, for his steadfast love is eternal.

Chapter 137
1 By the rivers of Babylon there we sat, and we wept when we remembered Zion. 2 On the willows in its midst we hung our harps. 3 For there they asked us for our songs—words of song—and our taunts: "Sing to us from a song of Zion." 4 How shall we sing the song of the LORD on foreign soil? 5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget. 6 May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above the head of my joy. 7 Remember, LORD, the sons of Edom on the day of Jerusalem, the ones saying, "Raze it! Raze it to its foundation!" 8 Daughter of Babylon, the devastated one, blessed is the one who repays you for your reciprocity which you repaid to us. 9 Blessed is the one who seizes your little ones and dashes them against the rock.
