Chapter 135
1Praise the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD. Praise the servants of the LORD.
2Who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
3Praise the LORD, for the LORD is pleasant; sing to his name, for it is pleasant.
4For the LORD chose Jacob for himself, Israel as his possession.
5For I know that the LORD is great, and our Lord is above all gods.
6All that the LORD delights in he has made in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all the abysses.
7He causes mist to rise from the end of the earth; he makes lightning for the rain; he brings forth wind from his treasuries.
8Who struck down the firstborn of Egypt, from man to animal.
9He sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, against Pharaoh and against all his servants.
10Who struck down many nations and killed mighty kings.
11Sihon king of the Amorite, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan.
12And he gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
13O LORD, your name endures forever; O LORD, your memorial endures to generation after generation.
14For the LORD will judge his people and will have compassion on his servants.
15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands.
16They have mouths, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see.
17They have ears, but they do not listen; there is also no spirit in their mouths.

4To the one who alone does great wonders, for his kindness endures forever.
5To the one who made the heavens by understanding, for his kindness endures forever.
6To the one who spread out the earth upon the waters, for his kindness endures forever.
7To the one who made great lights, for his kindness endures forever.
8The sun to rule by day, for his kindness endures forever.
9The moon and the stars to rule by night, for his kindness endures forever.
10To the one who struck Egypt in their firstborn, for his kindness endures forever.
11And he brought Israel out from their midst, for his kindness endures forever.
12With a strong hand and with a stretched-out arm, for his kindness endures forever.
13To the one who cut the Red Sea into pieces, for his kindness endures forever.
14And he made Israel pass through its midst, for his kindness endures forever.
15And he shook Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea, for his kindness endures forever.
16To the one who led his people through the wilderness, for his kindness endures forever.
17To the one who struck great kings, for his kindness endures forever.
18And he killed mighty kings, for his kindness endures forever.
