32He gave them hail for rain, flames of fire throughout their land.33He struck their vines and fig trees, and he broke the trees of their borders.34He spoke, and locusts came and caterpillars without number.35And it ate every herb of their land and ate the fruit of their land.36He struck every firstborn in their land, the firstfruit of all their strength.37And he brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none stumbling in his tribes.38Egypt rejoiced at their going out, for their fear fell upon them.39He spread a cloud as a screen and fire to shine through the night.40He asked for it, and it came—his quail—and with the bread of the heavens he satisfied them.41He opened the rock, and waters flowed; they walked in the desert—a river.42For he remembered his holy word with Abraham his servant.43And he brought his chosen ones out with him in joy, with a ringing cry.44He gave them the lands of nations, and they inherited the toil of peoples.45For the sake of his covenant they keep his statutes and preserve his Torah—Praise Jah.

Chapter 106
1Hallelujah. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.2Who will recount the mighty deeds of the LORD? Who will make all his praise heard.3Blessed are those who keep justice, who do righteousness at all times.4Remember me, LORD, in the favor you show your people; visit me with your salvation.5to see the good of your chosen ones, to rejoice in the joy of your nation, to glory with your inheritance.6We have sinned with our fathers; we have committed perverse acts; we have acted wickedly.7Our fathers in Egypt did not understand your wonders, did not remember your many acts of steadfast love, and rebelled at the Sea, the Sea of Reeds.8He saved them for the sake of his name, to make known his might.9He rebuked the Sea of Reeds, cut it off, and led them through the deeps like a wilderness.10And he saved them from the hand of the hater and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.11And the waters covered their enemies; not one of them was left.12And they believed his words; they sang his praise.13They soon forgot his deeds and did not wait for his counsel.14And they desired a desire in the wilderness, and they tested God in the wasteland.15And he gave them their request and sent leanness into their vital life force.16They were jealous of Moses in the camp, of Aaron, the holy one of the LORD.17The earth opened and swallowed Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.18Fire burned in their assembly; a flame blazed against the wicked.19They made a calf in Horeb and prostrated themselves to a molten image.20They exchanged their glory for the form of an ox that eats grass.21They forgot God their savior, who had done great things in Egypt.22Wonders in the land of Ham, awesome deeds upon the Sea of Reeds.23And he said to destroy them—had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him to turn back his wrath from destroying.24They rejected the desirable land; they did not believe his word.25And they murmured in their tents; they did not obey the voice of the LORD.26And he raised his hand to them to make them fall in the wilderness.27And to make their seed fall among nations and to scatter them in lands.28They clung to Baal Peor and ate sacrifices of the dead.29They provoked him with their evil deeds, and a plague broke out against them.30Phinehas stood up and interceded, and the plague stopped.
