Chapter 18
11 The lot fell to the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their clans. The boundary of their lot came out between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph. 12 And it was to them the boundary on the side of north from the Jordan. And the boundary went up to the shoulder of Jericho from the north. And it went up in the mountain westward. And its exits were the wilderness of Beth-aven. 13 And the boundary passed from there to Luz, to the shoulder of Luz southward; it is the House of God. And the boundary went down to Ataroth-addar, on the hill which is southward to the House of fierceness lower. 14 And the border was drawn, and it turned to the side of the sea southward from the mountain that is on the face of Beth-horon southward, and its exits were to Kiriath-baal (city of the sons of Judah). This is the side of the sea. 15 The southern border ran from the edge of Kiriath-yearim, and the boundary went out westward to the spring of the waters of Neph-toah. 16 The border descended to the end of the mountain that faces the Valley of Ben-Hinnom, which is in the Valley of Rephaim to the north. Then the Valley of Hinnom descended to the shoulder of the Jebusite to the south, and down to En-Rogel. 17 And it extended from the north and went out to En Shemesh and went out to the Gililoth, which are opposite the Ascent of Adummim, and descended to the Stone in it, the son of Reuben. 18 It passed to the shoulder opposite the Arabah to the north and descended to the Arabah. 19 And the boundary passed to the shoulder of Beth-haglah northward, and the exits of the boundary were to the tongue of the Dead Sea northward to the end of the Jordan southward; this is the southern boundary. 20 And the Jordan borders it on the eastern side. This is the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, to its borders all around, for their families. 21 Now the cities of the tribe of Benjamin according to their clans were Jericho, Beth-haglah, and the Valley of Keziz. 22 and Beth-ha-Aravah, Tzemarim, and Beth-El. 23 and the Avvim, the Parah, and the Ophrah. 24 and Kephar-haammonah, Chephammoni, and Gibeath, twelve cities and their courts. 25 Gibeon, Ramah, and Beeroth. 26 and Mizpeh, Chephirah, and Mitztzah. 27 and Rekem and Irpeel and Taralah 28 Zelah, the Thousand, and the Jebusite—she is Jerusalem—Gibeath, City-of-Cities: fourteen cities and their villages. This is the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin according to their families.
