Chapter 6
13 The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron and commanded them to bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, along with Pharaoh king of Egypt. 14 These were the heads of their fathers' houses: the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Enoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi. These were the families of Reuben. 15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul son of a Canaanite woman. These were the clans of Simeon. 16 These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. And the years of Levi's life were 137 years. 17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their clans. 18 The sons of Kohath: Amram and Zizah and Hebron and Uzziel. Kohath lived a hundred and thirty-three years. 19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of Levi according to their generations. 20 Amram took his father's sister Jochebed as his wife, and she bore him Aaron and Moses. The years of Amram's life were 137. 21 The sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri. 22 The sons of Uzziel: Mishael and Elzaphan and Sithri. 23 Aaron married Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon. She bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 24 The sons of Korah were Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these were the Korahite clans. 25 Eleazar son of Aaron took a wife from the daughters of Putiel, and she bore Phinehas for him. These are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families. 26 Aaron and Moses were the ones to whom the LORD said, "Bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts." 27 They are the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt to bring the sons of Israel out from Egypt; they are Moses and Aaron.
