Exodus 10:21-29

Chapter 10
21 And the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the heavens so that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, and let the darkness be palpable." 22 Moses stretched out his hand toward the heavens, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days. 23 They did not see one man his brother, and no man rose from under him for three days, but for all the sons of Israel there was light in their dwelling places. 24 And Pharaoh called to Moses and said, "Go, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds remain—your little ones may also go with you." 25 And Moses said, "You must also give into our hand sacrifices and burnt offerings, so that we will do them for the LORD our God." 26 And also our livestock will go with us; not a hoof will be left, for from it we will take to serve the LORD our God, and we do not know what we will serve the LORD until we come there. 27 And the LORD strengthened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not consent to send them. 28 And Pharaoh said to him, "Go from upon me; guard yourself; do not add to see my face, for on the day you see my face you shall die." 29 And Moses said, "Thus you have spoken. I will not gather again to see your face."
