Chapter 106
31 And it was reckoned to him as righteousness, to generation and generation, forever. 32 And they were angry at the waters of Meribah and did evil to Moses because of them. 33 because they rebelled against his spirit, and he spoke rashly with his lips. 34 They did not destroy the peoples that the LORD commanded them to destroy. 35 And they intermingled with the nations and learned their deeds. 36 And they served their idols, and those idols became a snare to them. 37 And they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons. 38 They poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. The land was defiled with blood. 39 And they became ritually impure in their deeds, and they prostituted themselves in their evil deeds. 40 And the anger of the LORD burned against his people, and he abominated his inheritance. 41 And he gave them into the hand of the nations, and their haters ruled over them. 42 Their enemies oppressed them, and they were humbled under their hand. 43 Many times he would save them, but they rebelled in their counsel and sank in their iniquity. 44 And he saw their distress when he heard their cry. 45 And he remembered his covenant for them and relented according to the abundance of his steadfast love. 46 And he caused them to find compassion in the sight of all their captors. 47 Save us, LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to boast in your praise. 48 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from the world and to the world. And all the people said, "Amen. Praise the LORD."
