   In Leviticus 7:32, the right leg is given as this item to the priest from peace offerings, and Leviticus 10:14 says that the leg of the contribution is to be eaten by the priestly household. Numbers 18:11 describes it as belonging to Aaron and his household from Israel's gifts, while Ezekiel 44:30 says that every such portion from the offerings belongs to the priests.

   In Ezekiel 45:1, the singular absolute form is a holy area raised from the land, specified by length and width. Ezekiel 48:10 assigns this holy portion to the priests and places the sanctuary in its midst; Ezekiel 48:20 describes the whole contribution by its dimensions and relation to the city possession.

   In 2 Samuel 1:21, the plural form occurs in the lament's appeal that Gilboa have no dew or rain and no “fields of contribution.” The surrounding clause does not clarify the specific character of those fields beyond that description.
