   In Acts 3:6 the singular form occurs in Peter's statement that he has no silver or gold, while Acts 20:33 places it among possessions he did not covet. In 1 Peter 1:7 the APB renders a comparison with gold that perishes when tested by fire; Hebrews 9:4 describes an ark covered with gold, and Revelation 21:18 describes the city as pure gold. Revelation 17:4 also places it in the woman's costly adornment.

In the Anselm Project Bible: Across these verses, the APB commonly uses "gold" and also describes objects as "golden" or "gilded with gold." These expressions describe the verse-level presentation rather than establishing separate renderings of the term.
