   Plural absolute forms identify the tabernacle’s standing wooden elements in Exodus 26:15, while singular forms in Exodus 26:16 refer to the dimensions of each individual piece. In Exodus 26:19 the individual pieces stand over silver sockets and have two tenons; Exodus 26:28 places a middle bar among them, and Exodus 36:34 describes them as overlaid with gold. The singular construct form in Ezekiel 27:6 occurs in a clause about a ship’s boards made of ivory.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB usually presents the term as “boards” in the tabernacle and ship descriptions. In Exodus 40:18 it instead renders the tabernacle components as “frames”; This variation should not be treated as a separate lexical sense.
