   The plural construct form occurs with Israel’s movements: in Exodus 17:1 the APB renders the congregation as setting out from the wilderness and camping at Rephidim, while Exodus 40:36 places their setting out under the rising cloud. In Numbers 10:28 the movements are connected with the armies’ setting out, and Numbers 33:2 pairs them with recorded starting points. Genesis 13:3 shows the same plural form in an individual’s travel by stages.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB commonly presents the relevant clauses with “journeys,” including Israel’s departures and camp movements; Genesis 13:3 is rendered as travel “by stages.” In Numbers 33:2 it also uses “starting points” alongside “journeys,” so the translation’s wording should not be treated as a word-for-word assignment.
