22And the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God from that day onward.23And the nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile because of their iniquity, since they acted unfaithfully toward me; therefore I hid my face from them, gave them into the hand of their enemies, and they all fell by the sword.24I treated them according to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions, and I hid my face from them.25Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Now I will restore the captivity of Jacob, have compassion on the whole house of Israel, and be jealous for my holy name.26They will bear their shame and all their unfaithfulness by which they were unfaithful to me when they lived securely on their land, with no one causing them to tremble.27When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, I will consecrate myself among them in the sight of many nations.28And they will know that I am the LORD their God when I send them into exile among the nations and gather them on their land, and I will not leave any of them remaining there.29I will no longer hide my face from them, for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord GOD.
