Cardinal quantity in counts and totals · dominant
All supplied tokens are tagged Cardinal, plural, absolute. In Exodus 24:1 the APB renders a numbered group as “seventy of the elders of Israel”; in Jeremiah 25:11 it renders a period as “seventy years”; and in Exodus 15:27 it renders the count of “seventy palm trees.” The form also occurs within larger totals, as in Exodus 38:25’s “one thousand seven hundred seventy-five shekels” and Genesis 25:7’s “one hundred seventy-five years.”
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB regularly presents the numerical quantity with “seventy,” including “seventy years,” “seventy men,” and “seventy palm trees,” and also embeds it in totals such as “seventy-five” and “one hundred seventy-five.” These English expressions confirm the verse-level numerical context rather than isolate every individual token’s rendering.
