The same spatial use marks land in Isaiah 34:17 and is stretched over Jerusalem in Zechariah 1:16, while Isaiah 28:17 applies the measuring image to justice.

In Psalm 19:5, the APB renders the verse's movement as "run its course," so the noun's specific contribution there is not isolated by the translation.
