Humeteros marks something as belonging to, associated with, or pertaining to the people being addressed.

The attested use consistently marks a person, possession, quality, or circumstance as belonging to or associated with those addressed: their time, law, word, love, preservation, and what is their own.

1. Belonging or pertaining to those addressed · dominant

   The forms identify matters connected with the addressed group: in John 7:6 the APB renders the contrast as “My time is not yet present, but your time is always ready,” and in John 8:17 it renders “in your law.” In Luke 16:12 the APB renders “what is your own,” while 2 Corinthians 8:8 speaks of “your love”; the same possessive relation also appears in John 15:20 with “yours” and in 1 Corinthians 16:17 with “your deficiency.”

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB commonly expresses the possessive relation with “your,” as in “your time,” “your law,” and “your love,” and also uses “yours” and “what is your own.” These renderings show the clause-level possessive relation rather than a fixed English equivalent in every verse.
