Apollos
Apollos is the personal name of a man named in accounts of teaching, travel, and ministry alongside other believers.
The name identifies a particular man in narrative and correspondence: he arrives in Ephesus, is in Corinth, is urged to visit believers, and is named alongside Paul in descriptions of ministry and community disputes.

Personal name in ministry and travel accounts · dominant
The nominative form identifies the man who arrives in Ephesus in Acts 18:24 and who “watered” after another had planted in 1 Corinthians 3:6. Other forms name him in statements about belonging to leaders, an urged visit, his presence in Corinth, and assistance for a journey; in Titus 3:13 the APB renders the clause “Help Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way diligently.”
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB consistently presents the term as the name “Apollos,” including in travel, affiliation, and ministry clauses. Its surrounding descriptions clarify the verse context rather than define the name itself.
