Shelah in the Bible is a biblical person first named in Genesis 10:24, where the passage says that Arpachshad begot Shelah and Shelah begot Eber. Genesis 11:12 again names Shelah as Arpachshad's child, and Genesis 11:14 says that Shelah fathered Eber. Also written Sala, he is named in at least 4 verses across Genesis and Luke. Luke's genealogy includes the form Sala in Luke 3:35.
