Harim

Harim in the Bible is the biblical person first named when “the third fell to Harim” in 1 Chronicles 24:8. The name is recorded in at least 11 verses across 1 Chronicles, Ezra, and Nehemiah. Ezra and Nehemiah each list groups called “the sons of Harim,” with matching totals in their respective passages (Ezra 2:32; Ezra 2:39; Nehemiah 7:35; Nehemiah 7:42). Ezra also names individuals from the sons of Harim (Ezra 10:21; Ezra 10:31). Harim is identified as the father of Malchijah, who strengthened a section and the tower of the ovens (Nehemiah 3:11).
