Ahiezer

Ahiezer in the Bible is the Numbers tribal leader named as the son of Ammishaddai and leader of the sons of Dan. Numbers 1:12 names him from Dan. In the arrangement of Dan’s camp, the passage identifies Ahiezer as leader of the sons of Dan; the standard of the camp is set on the north according to its armies (Numbers 2:25). He presented an offering as leader of Dan’s sons, and the text calls it his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings (Numbers 7:66, Numbers 7:71). When Dan’s camp set out as rear guard, Ahiezer was over his army (Numbers 10:25).
