   In Genesis 1:20, the Qal imperfect occurs in the command concerning waters and living creatures; the APB renders the clause "Let the waters swarm with a swarm of living creatures." Genesis 1:21 presents the completed action in a Qal perfect, while Exodus 1:7, Genesis 8:17, Leviticus 11:46, and Psalm 105:30 show the same activity with Israel filling the land, creatures spreading on the earth or land, and frogs filling a land.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB commonly uses "swarm" or "swarmer" in these clauses, including waters, land, frogs, and creatures; it also uses "creeps" in several creature descriptions.
