In Isaiah 10:3 the APB renders people fleeing “for help,” while Isaiah 31:1 describes going to Egypt amid reliance on horses, chariots, and horsemen; Jeremiah 37:7 likewise concerns Pharaoh’s army that came out “to help you.” In Psalm 27:9 the speaker addresses God as prior support, Judges 5:23 repeats the LORD’s assistance against the mighty, and Job 6:13 asks whether any support remains within the speaker.
