   In Deuteronomy 3:14 and Joshua 12:5, the masculine singular gentilic occurs in clauses locating a border alongside the Maacathites. In Joshua 13:11, the APB renders a territory of the Geshurites within a list of adjoining places and regions.

   In Joshua 13:2, the APB renders “all the Geshurites” among land still remaining. In Joshua 13:13, the clause says Israel did not dispossess the Geshurite, after which Geshur and Maacah dwell among Israel; 1 Samuel 27:8 places the Geshurites among peoples raided by David and his men.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB uses “Geshurite” or “Geshurites” where the clause concerns people, and “territory of the Geshurites” in Joshua 13:11. In Joshua 13:13 it also uses “Geshur” for the following place-name clause.
