The form is parsed as a proper noun in personal listings. In 1 Chronicles 7:18 the APB renders a birth notice naming “Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah”; in 1 Chronicles 11:28 and 2 Samuel 23:27 it names a figure identified with Anathoth, while 1 Chronicles 27:12 places Abiezer over the ninth month.

In Joshua 17:2 the APB places the name in the sequence “the sons of Abiezer” among Manasseh’s families. In Judges 6:34 the APB says “Abiezer was called after him” when Gideon blows the trumpet, and Judges 8:2 uses the name in the comparison “the vintage of Abiezer.”
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB generally presents the form as “Abiezer” in personal names and in the collective expressions “sons of Abiezer,” “Abiezer was called after him,” and “vintage of Abiezer.” These renderings confirm the verse-level contexts rather than isolate every contribution of the term.
