Hail in scenes of heavenly judgment and disturbance · dominant
All cited occurrences use the nominative singular feminine form in clauses describing hail as part of a disruptive event. In Revelation 8:7 the APB renders hail mixed with fire and blood and thrown toward the earth; in Revelation 16:21 it renders great hail coming down from heaven and calls it a plague; in Revelation 11:19 it lists great hail with lightning, voices, thunder, and an earthquake.
In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the term as “hail” in all three verses, adding “great hail” in Revelation 11:19 and Revelation 16:21. These renderings confirm the scenes rather than isolate every contribution of the Greek form.
