Propempo is used of sending, accompanying, or furnishing a traveler for the onward journey.
The attested use concerns practical support for a person's onward travel: a community may send someone forward, accompany a departing traveler, or ensure that travelers lack what they need for the journey.

Sending travelers onward with support · dominant
In 1 Corinthians 16:6 and 1 Corinthians 16:11, the active forms occur in requests that people be sent onward as they travel; the APB renders the clauses “send me on my way” and “send him on his way in peace.” In Acts 20:38 and Acts 21:5, active forms describe people accompanying a departing party to the boat or beyond the city, while Titus 3:13 places the action alongside the concern that the travelers “may lack nothing.” Passive forms in 2 Corinthians 1:16, Acts 15:3, and Romans 15:24 present travelers as being sent onward by others.
In the Anselm Project Bible: Across the verses, the APB variously presents the action as “send... on [one's] way,” “be helped on the way,” “accompanied,” and “Help... on their way.” These are verse-level renderings rather than definitions.
