   Present middle participles describe an angel and an eagle seen in midair in Revelation 14:6 and Revelation 8:13; the APB renders both clauses with “flying in midair.” The same participial use identifies birds in Revelation 19:17 and a living creature likened to an eagle in Revelation 4:7, while the present middle subjunctive in Revelation 12:14 occurs in the purpose clause for the woman to go to her wilderness place; the APB renders “she might fly.”
