Para is a preposition that marks relationships of source, association, location, or comparison within a clause.

As a preposition, para links words and phrases by marking a relationship supplied by the surrounding clause, including source, proximity or association, and comparison.

   The supplied morphology identifies each token as a preposition. In Acts 4:35, it occurs in the clause about placing proceeds beside the apostles’ feet; in 1 Thessalonians 2:13, in the clause about receiving the word of hearing from the speakers; and in 2 Corinthians 8:3, in the comparison between ability and giving beyond ability.
