Gideoni

Gideoni is a Numbers person identified as the father of Abidan, a leader of the sons of Benjamin (Numbers 1:11; Numbers 2:22).

His name occurs in at least five verses, all in Numbers, from Numbers 1:11 through Numbers 10:24. The supplied passages repeatedly name Abidan as Gideoni's son. They place Abidan over Benjamin's army and record an offering presented by him, described as "the offering of Abidan son of Gideoni" (Numbers 7:60; Numbers 7:65; Numbers 10:24).
