   In 1 Samuel 17:53, the Qal sequential imperfect occurs after Israel returns from pursuing the Philistines; the APB renders the verse with their taking from “their camp.” In Judges 2:14, the Qal sequential imperfect is used of plunderers acting against Israel, while the Niphal forms in Isaiah 13:16 and Zechariah 14:2 occur in clauses where the APB renders houses as “plundered” amid violence and capture.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB explicitly presents the action with “plundered” in the camp, Israel, and house contexts. In Psalm 89:42, its translation does not isolate a corresponding action for the supplied form.
