The attested use concerns honor in royal settings: it is given by God, promised by a king, received with dominion, and taken away when a king is deposed. The construct forms in Daniel 4:27 and Daniel 4:33 occur in verses whose APB wording does not clearly isolate the term's contribution.

   In Daniel 2:37 the determined singular occurs among what the God of heaven has given to the king, while Daniel 2:6 places the absolute singular among what the king promises to give. Daniel 5:18 and Daniel 7:14 likewise place it among what is given with kingdom and greatness or dominion, and Daniel 5:20 says that it was taken from the deposed king. The construct singular forms in Daniel 4:27 and Daniel 4:33 occur in their respective clauses, but the APB does not plainly identify their specific English correspondence.
