Daniel 3:29 uses the singular absolute form for “every people” under a decree, while Ezra 4:10 refers to a remnant of peoples settled in Samaria.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB commonly presents the clause with “peoples,” especially alongside “nations, and languages,” and renders the Daniel 3:29 singular context as “every people.” In Daniel 6:26 it instead has “men”; That variation cannot by itself define the term.
