   In 1 Timothy 4:15, the nominative singular form occurs in the result clause after practicing and being absorbed in these things; the APB renders, “so that your progress may be evident to everyone.” In Philippians 1:12, the accusative singular form is used for what circumstances have produced “for the progress of the gospel,” and in Philippians 1:25 it is joined with joy in faith for the readers’ advancement.
