malakia refers to the sicknesses included in the healings described in Matthew.

   In Matthew 4:23 and Matthew 9:35, μαλακίαν occurs in the clause describing Jesus healing every illness and every sickness among the people. In Matthew 10:1, the same form occurs with the authority given to the disciples so that they might heal every illness and every sickness; the APB presents the same healing context in all three verses.
