Derbe is used as the destination or location named in travel and flight accounts in Acts.

   The accusative singular form occurs as the named place in movement clauses. In Acts 14:6 the APB renders people fleeing to Lystra and Derbe; in Acts 14:20 it renders travel with Barnabas to Derbe; and in Acts 16:1 it renders arrival at Derbe and Lystra.

In the Anselm Project Bible: The APB presents the name directly in each movement setting: people flee to it, go to it with Barnabas, and come to it. These phrases confirm the clauses rather than provide a separate lexical definition.
