Four verses in Matthew, Mark, and Luke use language of the Son of Man coming in clouds with power and glory.
The Bible says that people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds or a cloud with power and glory. This language recurs in at least 4 verses across 3 books. Matthew describes the tribes of the earth mourning as they see the human coming on the clouds of heaven with power and much glory (Matthew 24:30). Jesus also speaks of the Son of Man seated at the right hand of power and coming on the clouds (Matthew 26:64). Mark and Luke likewise say that people will see the Son of Man coming with power and great glory (Mark 13:26; Luke 21:27).
