Zophar the Naamathite is one of Job's three friends and speaks in Job's dialogues.
Zophar in the Bible is the Naamathite counted among Job’s three friends; after hearing of Job’s distress, he came with Eliphaz and Bildad to mourn with and comfort him Job 2:11. The text introduces Zophar as answering in two speeches: “Zophar the Naamathite answered and said” Job 11:1; Job 20:1. In Job 42:9, he goes with Eliphaz and Bildad and does as the LORD had spoken to them, and the LORD accepts Job’s face.
