Zebulun is Leah’s son, named in Genesis and later associated with Sered, Elon, and Jahleel.
Zebulun is a biblical person first named when Leah called him Zebulun after saying she had borne six sons (Genesis 30:20). He is listed among Leah’s sons (Genesis 35:23), and Sered, Elon, and Jahleel are named as his sons (Genesis 46:14).
Zebulun is named in at least 15 verses across 6 books. The text records an allotted portion for the sons of Zebulun (Joshua 19:10); it also says Zebulun did not dispossess the inhabitants of Kitron and Nahalol (Judges 1:30). In Revelation, twelve thousand from the tribe of Zebulun are said to be sealed (Revelation 7:8).
