Children described by their mother in 2 Kings 4:1.
Two Sons of the Prophet's Widow are the children whom a widow tells Elisha a creditor has come to take as slaves in 2 Kings 4:1. The passage records the woman’s report that her husband has died and identifies the boys as “my two sons.” Their mother is identified as the Widow of a Son of the Prophets, and their deceased father as the Deceased Prophet Husband of the Widow (2 Kings 4:1). The designation occurs in at least one verse in 2 Kings.
