Shebaniah

Shebaniah is a biblical person named among priests who blew trumpets before the ark of God in 1 Chronicles 15:24. The name is recorded in at least seven verses across 1 Chronicles and Nehemiah. In Nehemiah, Shebaniah is included among Levites who cried out loudly to the LORD in Nehemiah 9:4 and who called for blessing the LORD in Nehemiah 9:5. The name also occurs in lists in Nehemiah 10:4, Nehemiah 10:10, Nehemiah 10:12, and Nehemiah 12:14.
